In addition to representing the Planning and Zoning Commissions, Building and Standards Commissions and Boards of Adjustment of our municipal clients, we have participated in the development of comprehensive zoning plans and overseen numerous public hearings on zoning issues ranging from planned unit developments to variances and special exceptions.
We regularly handle all election matters on behalf of our city clients. Specifically, our attorneys are highly experienced in all aspects of conducting mayor and city council member, bond authorization, maintenance tax authorization, confirmation, creation, assumption and annexation elections.
We have a broad range of experience in employment and employee related matters. We regularly counsel clients with respect to such matters as worker’s compensation claims, employment discrimination, sexual harassment, employee theft, terminations and compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act. We also assist our clients with the development and implementation of employee handbooks and policies and the negotiation and drafting of employment contracts.
